Victims of Violence Canadian Centre for Missing Children has a number of services available to victims of crime and families of missing children.

We have a recognized missing children program through the RCMP Our Missing Children Progam in which we print and distribute posters of missing children to all border crossings, airports and throughout Canada free of charge. We are also equipped to provide support and assistance to parents of children who have been the victim of stranger abduction, or endangered missing children. Victims of Violence is not able to accept cases of children who have been the victim of parental abduction. If you would like more information on parental child abduction, or would like support in this area, please contact us at 1-888-606-0000 for a referral to an organization in your area. If you would like copies of our posters, for display in a public place, please contact or email us at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .

We produce and distribute various booklets on a variety of topics having to do with victims, and the criminal justice system. Some of our more popular booklets include "What to Expect after Sentencing," "Providing Support and Assistance to Victims of Violent Crime," and "Homicide Survivors."  We also produce a variety of Child Safety Booklets.  Please browse our Victim Information and Child Protection Sections to view these booklets.  They may also be ordered in paper format by calling 1-888-606-0000.

As you travel through the criminal justice system, there may be times where you need support, accompaniment or help from an organization that is close to where you live. We have compiled an extensive listing of private and government agencies which are equipped to deal with victims of various types of crime.  Please browse these listings by clicking All Listings or by clicking on the Province to the left where you are located.
